connect GROUPS

The main way we encourage people to get connected and study the Bible is within a Connect Group (formally Life Groups). Connect Groups are gatherings of anywhere from 6-12 (or more) people that meet in homes for about an hour to an hour and a half each week.

Each group has its own personality, but generally you can expect to find snacks or a meal, a time of Bible study led by a trained discussion leader, and prayer.

The Bible study usually aligns with the message subject from Sunday morning.

If you’re interested in checking out Connect Groups, stop by the Connect Table on Sunday morning and talk to Merlene Jackson, our Connect Groups Coordinator.

  • SPIRITUAL GROWTH

We want to be life-long learners, growing in our relationship with Jesus, eager to share His love with others. Connect Groups offer interesting and practical studies that have real life application.

  • Shared Life

We share life around each other's kitchen tables or family rooms and during activities like serving together in the community. It takes time to share life! This extra hour and a half on Sunday night or during the week will allow you to deepen relationships made at Connection.

  • Mutual Concern

We believe mutual concern is an out-growth of shared life. Connect Group members help each other: meals for a family experiencing a loss or a new baby, a shoulde to cry on, an ear to listen, or a ride to work when your car breaks down.

  • 2 THESSALONIANS 1:3

This Verse sums up all three: Spiritual Growth, Shared Life, and Mutual Concern - " We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sister and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.
