Popcorn with the Pastor is a relaxed opportunity for guests and those newer to Connection to meet our senior pastor, hear more about the church, and ask questions while enjoying some popcorn. It takes place on the first Sunday of every month immediately following the worship service in the room behind the worship center. Register for an upcoming Popcorn with the Pastor and take your next step toward getting connected at Connection.

When life feels unpredictable, the Psalms give us words to bring our stress and anxiety to God. In Hallelujah Anyhow, we’ll use Rev. Dr. Charlie Dates’ study of various psalms to explore how we can respond with trust and praise.
Each Thursday also makes room to meet people, share life, and encourage one another. Come once or come every week—each gathering stands on its own, and Jimmy and Shelly would love to welcome you.

Thy Kingdom Come: A Prayer and Worship Event

• Saturday, October 24 · 10:00–11:00 AM

Join us as we worship and pray for our community, our church, and the work God has placed before us. Inspired by Jesus’ prayer, “Your kingdom come” (Matthew 6:10), this gathering is part of Connection’s ongoing emphasis on prayer.
Everyone is welcome. We’ll pray together and in groups, and you’re free to pray silently—no one will be forced to pray out loud.

Visit the HUB for more information and let us know you’re interested in joining the team.

Shaped for Kingdom Work is designed to help you discover how God has uniquely prepared you to serve and make a difference. Through the S.H.A.P.E. framework—Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences—you’ll explore how each part of your life can be used for meaningful ministry and Kingdom work. The class meets on the third Sunday of every month immediately following the worship service in the room directly behind the Worship Center. Register today to discover your S.H.A.P.E. and take your next step in serving.

The Lawncare Team serves by caring for our church grounds through mowing, trimming, landscaping, and general outdoor upkeep. If you enjoy working outside and don’t mind getting a little dirty, this is a great way to use your time and energy to serve God and His people. Your work helps create a welcoming environment for everyone who comes to Connection Christian Church.
